REQUEST FOR NOMINATIONS
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
COMMUNITY INTERVENTION AND DEVELOPMENT FUND
Pursuant to the Resolution of CONAECDA 2017 to establish the CIAD Fund; the Secretariat of CONAECDA as mandated to implement the Resolution hereby REQUESTS for Nominations from Member CDAs, State Forums and Members of the CONAECDA Council to nominate reputable Autochthons to serve as Members of the BOARD of Directors of the Fund.
Qualifications
1.       Must be a member of his/her Community Development Association
2.       Must be one of the following
a.       A successful businessman/woman,
b.       Financial Expert,
c.       Development Practitioner,
d.      Government Bureaucrat or
e.      Community Leader
With experience in His/Her field of not less than 20 Years.
3.       Should have a letter of recommendation from His/her CDA or State Forum.
Successful Nominees will serve for a term of 3 years, renewable once subject to satisfactory performance, on a part time basis and remunerable on a commission basis.

COMMUNIQUÉ AND RESOLUTIONS OF THE CONFERENCE OF AUTOCHTHONOUS ETHNIC-NATIONALITIES COMMUNITIES DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATIONS (CONAECDA) 2018 The CONAECDA 2018 took place under low key arrangements to mourn our Royal Ambassador the Late Agom Adara the III, HRH Maiwada Raphael Galadima, JP, who was brutally murdered on 25 th October 2018 by terrorists. The 2018 Conference was also to commiserate with our various communities where over a thousand people were killed within 12 months since the last conference was held. Community Leaders from various States attended the Conference, along with Volunteers and Staff of the Secretariat who facilitated the Conference.
