COMMUNITY
VOLUNTEER SERVICES
1.
Introduction
In order to carry out its programmes, designed to meet
community needs and to contribute to National Development and in line with the
age long Culture of Voluntary Community Services, CONAECDA has decided to
organize a pool of volunteers who will help the Secretariat in programme
initiation, planning, implementation and evaluation.
The CVS seeks to leverage on a pool of expertise from
experienced persons and especially those from the member communities. CONAECDA
seeks through the CVS to train future workers and build the capacity of people
from member communities in various spheres of community services.
The CVS is therefore designed to supplement efforts of staff
of the Secretariat in carrying out their duties and in implementing Conference
decisions.

This is a good administrative technology at bridging the cap between secretariat and the communities under Conaecda nation wide. Sometime December 2019 some members registered under the Conaecda volunteers group now my question is should they reregister again as some of them have been asking when will they be contacted. Applause to the secretariat Secretary-General the President and all those involved in running the affairs of the organization.
