COMMUNITY INTERVENTION, EMPOWERMENT AND DEVELOPMENT FUNDING AGENCY (CIEDFA)


INTRODUCTION 
Indigenous and Minority Ethnic Nationalities and their communities are confronted with many challenges related to Security, Cultural rights, Religious rights, Minority rights, and Community Development. In an effort to address these challenges, CONAECDA was established by the over 300 Cultural and Community Development Associations of the various ethnic groups in the Middle Belt and Northern Nigeria.
In order to finance its activities in the interest of its people; the Communities Development Associations decided to establish the Community intervention and development fund and to request every Minority Adult from the age of 18 to contribute a minimum of 100 Naira annually to the Fund.
 
PURPOSE OF THE FUND
The fund will be used in the following areas.
  1. Community Intervention activities including (North East Community Intervention initiatives and the West-Central Community Intervention initiatives) these deals with humanitarian responses in our communities face by terrorism, inter ethnic conflicts and inter-religious conflicts) 
  2. Inter Community Peace Building activities
  3. Community Based Early Warning and Early Response System
  4. S3RP Project ( Secure, Rebuild, Rehabilitate, Restore and Protect Project) for occupied communities
  5. Minority and Indigenous Peoples rights activities
  6. Heritage Languages Development Programmes
  7. Community Development Activities( Based on the Sustainable Development Goals)
  8. Other Programmes of CONAECDA

How to contribute

1.       Pay directly into CONAECDA Accounts

2.       Pay via other electronic means

3.       Pay through our area representatives

4.       Pay at our various offices/  Programmes or event venues

5.       Pay Via Churches and Mosques.

6.       Pay through your CDA or traditional Institutions.
